September 8th Meeting for Board Members Only

Our regularly scheduled business meeting on September 8 will be limited to elected board members only.

The primary focus of this meeting will be the 2027 Tri-State Conference, which GPA will be hosting. The board will be working to develop a proposal to present to the membership for review and discussion.

We will also hold a business meeting during the Tri-State Conference in North Carolina on October 6. Members attending this year’s conference are encouraged to attend, as we will share important information and updates as we prepare for 2027.

July GPS Business Meeting Cancelled

Due to FIFA-related events in the Atlanta area, the July GPA business meeting has been cancelled, as previously decided during our May meeting.

Our next meeting is scheduled for September 8 at 1000 hours. The meeting location and training topic will be announced at a later date.

We will also provide an update on the organization’s contribution toward tuition for this year’s Tri-State Polygraph Conference as soon as logistical details are finalized with the North Carolina Polygraph Association.

May 12, 2026 GPA Business Meeting

Our next GPA business meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2026, and will be held in the Community Building at the Douglasville Police Department from 10:00 AM to approximately 1:00 PM.

The Community Room is located in the second smaller building to the left of the main Douglasville Police Department building, 2083 Fairburn Rd., Douglasville, GA 30135.

Following the conclusion of the business portion of the meeting, lunch will be provided as we transition into our training session. Members are encouraged to enjoy a working lunch as we cover the LXEdge software for the Lafayette polygraph system. This training is particularly important, as Lafayette will be phasing out the older LX software — members who currently use that system are encouraged to attend and become familiar with the new LXEdge program. Please note that this training is tentative, pending our ability to schedule a representative from Lafayette to present on this topic.
