The GPA will hold its quarterly business meeting on the second day of the Tri-State Polygraph Conference, Wednesday, October 7. The meeting will begin immediately after that day’s training concludes. We anticipate that training will end early to allow time for the business meeting. All GPA members attending the conference are encouraged to attend. We anticipate sharing exciting information regarding the 2027 Tri-State Conference, which GPA will host, as well as upcoming training opportunities and the 2027 election.

The GPA Board is aware of the difficulties some members have experienced while registering for and submitting payment for the Tri-State Polygraph Conference hosted by the North Carolina Polygraph Association (NCPA). We have been in communication with NCPA, which has acknowledged delays in sending adjusted invoices to GPA members. These adjusted invoices reflect the reduced registration rate made possible through GPA’s financial contribution. NCPA has assured us that the outstanding invoices will be sent soon.

We recognize that, due to these delays, some members have already paid the full registration fee. Members who paid the full rate may see GPA Treasurer James Buckner at the conference to receive reimbursement of the $55 GPA has agreed to cover.

For members who have not yet paid because they are awaiting an adjusted invoice and do not receive the promised invoice before the conference, NCPA has confirmed that you will still be permitted to attend. You may pay the reduced rate of $70 upon arrival, and GPA will pay the remaining $55 directly to NCPA.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this process has caused. The GPA Board is continuing to work with NCPA to resolve these issues as promptly as possible. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you at the conference.
